The Curriculum Resource Center of Union Presbyterian Seminary’s Charlotte campus and Charlotte Presbytery is unique in that it serves both internally and externally: as an intrinsic part of the Christian Education curriculum at the seminary; as a support to current students and alums involved in local church ministry; as a resource for Charlotte Presbytery church leaders. The center offers both seminary students and members of the Charlotte Presbytery community access to its 4500 titles in topics such as:
- Bible study curricula
- Sunday School lessons
- small-group adult studies
- literature for children and youth
- teacher/leader training courses
- intergenerational gathering activities
- devotional books
- Bible commentaries
- worship resources
- Presbyterian polity resources
While supported and run by both the Presbyterian seminary and the local Presbytery, this Resource Center is ecumenical in its approach and its holdings.
The Resource Center is located in room C203 at 5141 Sharon Road in Charlotte. The print collection includes both brand-new resources as well as out-of-print titles and Presbyterian archives.
This website offers curated, featured selections with brief annotations written by staff, students, faculty and alumni of Union Presbyterian Seminary, and electronic links so that viewers can order directly from the publishers. These curated featured titles are also available for perusal at the center in room C203 at Sharon Road.
